Canine Social Club founders/owners, Nick and Melissa are a local Okie couple themselves, both born and raised in Oklahoma City. After many years living in Atlanta, Georgia, they made the decision to move back “home” to oversee their families needs and just slow down. While living and working in Atlanta, their Vizsla Truman, attended doggy daycare several times a week and enjoyed it “4 paws up”! As Corporate Professionals, doggy daycare was a perfect solution for a busy couple that spent a great deal of time away from home. Back in Oklahoma, they began to seek a dog daycare facility in town and quickly discovered there were none available. After “pawing” the idea around, and with many tips from Truman, the Canine Social Club was opened in April of 2004 resulting in thunderous “applaws”.
With Melissa's love of animals, business experience, and work ethic, CSC has become a “howling” success. Now open over 6 years, the Canine Social Club offers OKC the best choice for your dog's needs. We have the best location, best climate-controlled facility and grassy play-yard of it's kind in central Oklahoma City. Our large staff are chosen for their love of dogs, customer service skills, dependability and maturity to care for each and every dog at Canine Social Club. Our staff all enjoy bringing our own pooches for daycare play and we're one big happy family!
Another member of our family is Bella, a precocious Cocker Spaniel. She came to us as a daycare attendee needing a new home and we fell in love with her! Bella will usually greet you at the door, but even though she's little, be sure to rub her tummy or she'll bug you till you do. She's so cute you can't resist! You'll find Truman hanging out on the reception area sofa! Yes, both our dogs have jobs, we just wish they had Social Security numbers! Life is good, it's a blast to go to work every day with happy dogs and we just consider ourselves lucky to live in their world!
